Production Facilities & Core Technologies
The company operates a high‑standard production base equipped with a high‑precision digital machining center, vacuum coating equipment, an optical testing platform, and more. These facilities meet the technical requirements of the National Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development Project and support us in R&D and production from core components to complete systems.
In our manufacturing process, we apply a number of key technologies: PLC programmable controller technology, modular design, high‑precision goniometer manufacturing, high‑frequency high‑voltage generator manufacturing, intelligent control and automation, detector assembly, X‑ray tube assembly, and the accompanying software control system. Thanks to these technologies, the performance of our TD series diffractometers, stress analyzers, crystal analyzers, and other products reaches or approaches world‑advanced levels.
These instruments are used in many fields, including industry, agriculture, national defense, pharmaceuticals, mining, food safety, petroleum, education, and scientific research. From R&D to production, every step follows consistent quality standards. The production areas within our factory are laid out rationally, which improves efficiency and ensures product consistency.
R&D Team
Tongda has an R&D team of 30 technical staff members. The core members have solid academic backgrounds and many years of industry experience in materials science, physics, crystallography, and related fields. The team focuses on continuous improvement of X‑ray diffraction technology, covering core component manufacturing, customer‑specific application method development, and data analysis.
