The enclosed X-ray tube is essentially a large vacuum (105 ~10-7 MMHG diode)
The basic composition includes
1) Cathode: The cathode is where electrons are emitted
2) Anode: Also known as target, is the place where electrons suddenly slow down and emit X-rays
3) Window: The window is where X-rays are emitted from the outside of the anode target
4) Focus: The focus refers to the area where the anode target surface is bombarded by the electron beam and it is from this area that X-rays are emitted
